Entry Level Positions

Environmental Technician – Streetscapes

• No experience required – full training provided
• Hands-on outdoor work across the Perth Metro area
• Operate specialised steam weed control equipment
• Operate small 2-stroke equipment
• Work safely as part of a crew around live traffic
• Drivers Licence required
  
• White Card required
• These roles require a Traffic Management Certificate*

*Or an undertaking to achieve one during your initial training period. 

Environmental Technician – Natural Areas

• No experience required – full training provided
• Hands-on outdoor work across bushland, wetlands, coastal areas and reserves
• Carry out hand weeding, brushcutting, pruning, planting and watering
• Assist with revegetation and environmental maintenance works
• Operate a range of hand tools and small powered equipment
• Build practical skills and knowledge in natural area restoration and maintenance
• Work safely as part of a crew in varied outdoor environments
• Certificate II or higher in Conservation and Ecosystem Management is highly regarded but not essential
• White Card required

Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to reliably attend work for a 6:45am start
• White Card
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
• Comfortable working outdoors across streetscapes, reserves and natural environments
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking hands-on outdoor work
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, positive and able to contribute to a good team environment
• Currently living in Perth, WA and hold valid Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

• Experience operating small powered equipment such as brushcutters and blowers
• Experience with the safe use and handling of 2-stroke fuel
• Previous experience in environmental, landscaping, horticultural or outdoor maintenance work
• Certificate II or higher in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or a related field

Salary is negotiated based upon qualifications and experience, initially the positions are entry level positions.
